You could find that WhatsApp’s option to send messages using an enter key or button is its most annoying feature.
By pressing the enter key, the message is sent out immediately whenever you wish it to appear in the following line.
To write the messages more clearly, you could want to disable this feature. We are grateful for WhatsApp’s ability to disable the enter key from being used when sending.
How to Disable the Enter Key is Send On WhatsApp
Sadly, there is no feature on the WhatsApp Web to prevent the enter key from being used as a send. This feature exists on the WhatsApp application.
On the WhatsApp web app, this feature cannot be turned off. In the browser version of WhatsApp, the default setting is to utilize the enter key as send.
So, using WhatsApp Web, how do you hit enter or move on to the next line?
Shift + Enter
It’s a very easy process. All you have to do is hold down the Shift key and hit Enter (or return on a Mac). This will direct you to the message’s new line.
